The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit firmly denied ex President Donald Trump’s request on Wednesday to halt the removal of his name from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The court in a brief said the request remain denied while his appeal proceeds.
The decision indicates the Kennedy Center plans to keep Trump’s name off its building at present. Earlier rulings also rejected Trump’s effort to have the name restored. The case continues to be pending in the appeals process.
