Daniel Tupou recorded his 300th NRL appearance for the Sydney Roosters historic club against the Parramatta Eels opponents last Saturday. The milestone was noted in numerous places across the league. NRL.com, News.com.au and the Roosters’ social media pages all cited it.
The Roosters held back veterans to manage load for the match. Tedesco, Walker and Robson were omitted the regulars. Stand-in player Pezut filled Moses’ spot in the lineup an emerging talent. The side also brought in younger talent to the mix. Tupou now rests among the club’s exclusive 300-game group for the club.
