The NFL is dropping the annual Pro Bowl event after 75 years. The league is ending the actual game, but star players will still be honored. Players will still be named as Pro Bowlers to receive their annual honors.
Player honors will stay in place despite the cancellation of the match. However, alternate players will no longer be acknowledged by the league. The decision ends the 75 year history of the yearly event, but leading stars will still receive their official Pro Bowl accolades each year.
