London police discovered a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had any food or water while quivering. It endured the harsh ordeal. Animal advocates labeled it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a regular survey in the Congo Basin.
