Rogers Communications finalised its buyout of the remaining 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.
The deal renders Rogers the sole owner of MLSE.
This move increases Rogers' oversight across the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and various teams within the company's franchise portfolio.
Multiple outlets confirmed the finalised transaction on Monday.
Rogers before held a majority stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
