Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made his India debut on July 4, 2026. He played his first twenty-over match against England at Old Trafford. Sooryavanshi smashed the previous youngest Indian player record. No one under 16 had represented India before. He scored a quick dozen off nine balls before falling to the bowlers. His first two balls went for sixes. Rehan Ahmed and Gus Atkinson dismissed him.
