Su-57D: Russia Says It Will Fly Combat AI - MiGFlug

Latest News About Two-seat Su-57 variant planned to use combat artificial intelligence

Russia has announced that its two-seat Su-57 jet will fly with advanced combat AI. Russia labeled this new twin-seat model the Su-57D. Engineers built the jet to compete with Western fifth-generation fighters. However, the Russian fleet of Su-57 jets is still limited.

Meanwhile, a small European country currently maintains twice as many fifth-generation fighters as Russia. The difference in fleet size exists despite Russian efforts to install combat AI technology into the Su-57D. Simple Flying and MiGFlug highlighted the small fleet size in addition to the planned artificial intelligence features.
