Qatar Airways started its first non-stop flight to Port Sudan on Monday. The new service connects Doha and Sudan’s main airport. This represents the airline’s largest push into East Africa so far.
Schedules were not announced and no plane type was shared. The airline and local media provided no further information. The decision follows requests to add extra flight permissions in the region. Passengers can now fly straight between both cities. Exact schedules and full details remain unannounced.
