Latest News About X‑Trail recall announced by Nissan due to steering flaw

Nissan issued a recall for its X‑Trail SUV. The recall covers a defect in the steering column that may influence handling. A 2025 model in metallic grey is listed for sale online at about AU$45,000. The 2026 version adds Google built‑in technology and an explorer edition. Auto Express reported that the upgrades seem modest in use. Nissan says replacement parts will be provided at no cost.

The company rolled out the Tekton SUV targeted at Indian and African markets. Is set for production at Nissan’s Japanese plant for overseas sales for overseas markets. The debut in South Africa is expected soon.
