The National Rugby League altered its rules to give Jai Arrow special dispensation. The amendment follows his forced retirement from rugby league due to motor neurone disease. This measure allows Arrow to reach 100 games for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Overcome Rabbitohs players were informed of the act. He can now hit a century.
Elsewhere, a man given a diagnosis of MND 29 years ago continues to be ill but alive. In a further case, a UK patient aged 36 was informed he has 10 years to live following his diagnosis.
