Michael Taaffe received his first NFL start. He finished with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety picked off Kirk Cousins to open the half. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not in the starting pair. The interception happened on the drive that opened the half. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third scoring pass. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway was the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
