Evacuation alerts are currently posted on the edges of Logan Lake, BC. Both the local municipal district and the town itself issued the notices. The Guichon Creek fire sits at 88 hectares. That one is still uncontained. Crews are closely watching it. Residents have been told to get ready to leave if things change.

A separate fire near Monte Lake, right beside Highway 97, burned 12 hectares. Crews got on top of that one. It is no longer spreading now. The two fires sit within a bigger push to manage the wider regional incident, according to authorities on July 30, 2026.
