Long lines are forming at gas stations across Russia. A mother and child in one area reported an extended stand-by to buy fuel. Domestic shortages have deepened as Ukrainian forces sharply increased attacks on Russian oil-processing plants and storage facilities.
Russia is now organizing shipments of jet fuel from North Asia to address the shortage, reports said.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian security services denounced a Russian drone strike on a nuclear-fuel storage site near Zaporizhzhia. They called the attack a war crime.
