Childcare operator Edge Early Learning has moved into voluntary administration. The PE-owned company manages 70 childcare centres, leaving the future of its locations up in the air. Arena REIT revealed the entry into voluntary administration following notifications about the status of the childcare group came in.
Advisory firm KordaMentha was named as administrator for Edge Early Learning. Administrators have stepped in to oversee the financial oversight and financial situation of the childcare provider. Arena REIT No 1 was given formal notice about the process. The entry into administration leaves 70 childcare centres facing an unclear fate while KordaMentha oversees the process.
