All Blacks halfback Cam Roigard says the loss to South Africa is still fresh and New Zealand must carry lessons from the setback into the Bledisloe Cup opener against Australia at Eden Park.
Roigard also mentioned a "weird" feeling heading into the test, without elaborating further.
Anton Segner said the squad has shifted attention to the Wallabies match and is ready to push forward.
The Bledisloe Cup opener at Eden Park is a key moment for the All Blacks to respond after the Springboks setback.
